Pink on the Links
We would like to invite you to be our guest at the first "Pink on the Links" Day on Friday, June 19th at the Hardscrabble Country Club as part of the 2009 Fort Smith Classic presented by Stephens Inc., a tournament on theNationwide Tour. We are looking to honor our breast cancer survivors by giving you the privilege to serve inside the ropes as walking scorers, standard Bearers (these are the volunteers that will carry a sign with the names and scores for each group). If you are interested please call the Komen office at 479-750-7465. We are really excited to have been given the opportunity to partner with this PGA TOUR event. I hope that you will join us onthis special occasion!
Schedule of that day:
7 a.m. Ceremonial tee off
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Health fair
Noon Lunch & Fashion show
8 p.m.: Par-Tee Pink

Legally Blonde The Musical
Legally Blonde, The Musical, is coming to the Walton Arts Center and joining with the Ozark Affiliate to increase breast cancer awareness as well as bringing a hilarious show to our area.

Drive a Ford, Support Our Mission
The Ford Advantage Plan Test Drive is underway at Ford dealerships across the country. Weekly ground passes are $50 each and are valid for the entire week of the event, September 7 – 13, 2009 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. Admission is free for children 17 years of age and younger if accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure
The sister of Susan Komen, Nancy Brinker, established the Komen Foundation in 1982 to find a cure for breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. This organization has been working with local affiliates and the Komen Race for the Cure to raise awareness of breast cancer and to raise funds to help victims and conduct research.
