6th Annual “Do it for the Girls” Rally for the Cure scheduled for June 11

The 16th Annual Rally for the Cure golf tournament is scheduled for June 11 in Bella Vista. Affectionately themed “Do it for the Girls”, all proceeds will

benefit Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate and is open to all women. The 18- hole, 4-person scramble is $65 per golfer. Entry forms are available at

Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate welcomes Mary Alfrey

Before our 15th Annual Race for the Cure, the Ozark Affiliate ushered in a new Executive Director.  We are so excited to announce that the

new Executive Director of the Ozark Affiliate is Mary Alfrey.  Mary was previously the Director of Advancement at Cedar Valley Hospice in Iowa

and we are looking forward to her leadership and direction.

Swing for the Cure

Coach Bret Bielema will be the honorary guest and speaker at the 6th annual Komen Ozark Swing for the Cure Golf Classic to be held on Friday, July 26, 2013

at Shadow Valley Country Club in Rogers.

This year’s event will offer a morning flight with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start or a 1:30 p.m. afternoon flight. Team foursomes will play a scramble and

both flights will include a lunch served from noon – 1:30 p.m., golf shirts, refreshments and prizes. Teams start at $1,000.
