Beginning in 2004, the Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House has received grant funding from the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to further its mission and providing cost-free, non-medical support programs and services to cancer patients and their families and to provide educational programs to the community in support of early detection of cancer.  Speficially, Komen Ozark grants sustain the Support House's Breast Health Program which provides services and supplies to breast cancer patients including free wigs, hats, turbans, mastectomy supplies, lymphedema supplies and treatment as well as gas cards and emergency financial assistance for financially disadvantaged individuals.  new in the 2011 grant is a request for funds to provide breast cancer screeninng, diagnostic procedures and education efforts for women served by the Women's Center at Sparks Regional Medical Center.
