The Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is looking for partners who can impact breast health in their community.
The Ozark Affiliate offers grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health and breast cancer education, outreach, screening and treatment support targeting services not otherwise available to uninsured or underinsured women and men in our 10 county service area. The service area includes; Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Madison, Newton, Sebastian and Washington counties in Arkansas and Stone and Taney counties in Missouri.
Applications for the 2014-2015 grant cycle are due by 5pm on November 12, 2013 and must be submitted using the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants eManagement System (GeMS). Please note that organizations will not be granted access to GeMS until the successful completion of an Ozark Affiliate Grant Writing Application.
The Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen® is currently offering grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health and/or breast cancer education, outreach, screening and treatment support targeting services not otherwise available to low income, underinsured or uninsured women and men. The affiliate is offering 3 opportunities to attend a mandatory Grant Writing Workshop. If your agency or organization plans to submit a grant, you must attend a workshop. All workshops will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A light lunch will be provided.
