Whose Life Are You Running For? Participate in the 13th Annual Komen Ozark Race for the Cure® and show everyone whose life you are running for. Are you running for your mother, your sister, a co-worker, a friend? Are you running for your own life? Or are you running for the future? No matter whose life you are running for, now is the time to get involved and run for their life!

NEW THIS YEAR is our drop in survivor breakfast.
Breast cancer survivors and one guest are invited to
stop by our Survivor Reunion Breakfast sponsored by
Walmart/Sam's Club. join us at your leisure in the Food
Pavilion between 6:30 and 9:00 am. The survivor parade
and photo will start at the Food Pavilion at 8:05 am.
Join us again this year for our 10K course.
The course is certified by USAFT and each
participant will be timed and receive a
commemorative medal. Awards will be given
to the top three place survivors, male and
female participants.
Race starts at 7:30 am.
The competitive event features a 5K course
certified by the USAFT. This year we are excited
to include chip-timing in your registration fee.
The first-place male, female, and survivor will receive
roundtrip air transportation on American Airlines or
American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous
United States. Limit one (1) ticket per household.
Race starts at 8:00 am
The non-competitive event will be on 5K course
certified by the USAFT. This is for those that
want to run or walk the 5K at their own pace.

Family Fun Walk
Not up full 5K? Join us for the Family
Fun Walk 1K course through Pinnacle Hills Promenade
Mall,sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Bring the whole family
and enjoy a more leisurely pace while continuing to make an
impact against breast cancer.

Komen Pasta Party has undergone a transformation.
Not only has our venue changed to the Pratt Barn of
Pratt in & Barn, Fayetteville, AR but so has our menu.
Following our theme this year-Global Mission...Local
Impact- We are having a "Taste of Italy" menu.
Several local restaurants will be providing "tastings'
of appetizers, salads, entree's and desserts. There
will be beverages, entertainment, and lots of ambience.
This year's event will be Friday, April 27th from
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Event tickets are $25.00 per
person. Children under 6 eat free. You can purchase
tickets online at www.komenozark.org or at the door
the night of the event.
Not a morning person? Out of town on Race day?
Register for our Sleep In for the Cure program sponsored
by Hanks & More Fine Furniture. Registration includes a
special Sleep In for the Cure t-shirt mailed to your home prior
to the race, if registered by April 9, 2012.
Kids 12 and under, along with their parents, are invited to
join in the fun of the post-race party at Kids for the Cure.

invite you to this kid-friendly area featuring food, fun, and
our Kid’s Dash sponsored by Kraft Foods. Kids will receive a

The first 2,000 kids on Race day will receive a Kids for the
Cure race medal sponsored by Pepperidge Farm.

Bark for the Cure
Bring your dog to PetSmart at Pinnacle Hills Promenade
Mall for the Komen Ozark Bark for the Cure sponsored
by Milk Bone. Walk your best friend through the 1k
route with a water stop at the end. Prizes will be given in
various categories throughout the event.
One dog per participant please.
Walk begins 8:30 am.
Teens for the Cure
This is a wonderful way for schools in our community
to sho their support by putting together a team of
students to walk, run, cheer or volunteer. Any school or
organization that is interested in this philanthropic venue
can sign up online as part of your school or organizations
team. You will eceive a specially designed "Teens for the
Cure" t-shirt. The cost is $10 and you must be signed up
as part of a team through your school or organization.
Volunteers
New and returning volunteers are encouraged to
get involved. Race volunteers will receive a t-shirt
courtesy of Quilted Northern Ultra in appreciation of
their efforts. Quilted Northern is the National Series
sponsor of the Volunteer Recognition Program. For

Participants are encouraged to review primary and alternate routes, carpool and arrive EARLY. Lane closures and lane restrictions on the Race course begin at 6 AM and a very high volume of vehicular traffic is expected. Patrol cars from the City of Rogers Police Department will be present on all streets surrounding the venue to ensure public safety and efficient traffic flow. Please also review all Parking information in advance to ensure you are aware of designated open and permitted areas.
Primary routes Traveling north on I-540, take exit 82 and turn right off the exit. Proceed to the Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall and turn left on Promenade Boulevard.
Traveling south on I-540, take exit 83 and turn left off the exit turn left on New Hope Road. Turn right on Promenade Boulevard.
Alternate routes Traveling north on I-540, take exit 81, and turn right off the exit. Continue on Pleasant Grove Road and then turn left on Dixieland Road. Turn left on New Hope Road, then turn left on Promenade Boulevard.
Traveling north on I-540, take exit 78, and turn right off the exit. Continue on Highway 264 and then turn left on Dixieland Road. Turn left on New Hope Road, turn left on Promenade Boulevard.
Traveling south on I-540, take exit 85 and turn left off the exit. Continue on Walnut Street and then turn right on Dixieland Road. Turn right on New Hope Road, then turn left on Promenade Boulevard.
Traveling south on I-540, take exit 82 and turn left off the exit. Proceed to the Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall and turn left on Promenade Boulevard.
Safety
For the safety of all participants, rollerblades and pets are not permitted on the Family Fun Run and certified 5K and 10K Race courses. Thank you for your cooperation
Cancellation Statement
This event will occur rain or shine. We Reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Ozark Race for the Cure®
