Event Activities

Competitive 5K Race

The competitive event features a 5K course
certified by the USAFT. This year we are excited
to include chip-timing in your registration fee.
The first-place male, female, and survivor will receive
roundtrip air transportation on American Airlines or
American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous
United States. Limit one (1) ticket per household.

Family Fun Walk

Not up for the full 5K? Join us for the Family Fun Walk 1K
course through Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall sponsored
by Skinny Cow. Bring the whole family and enjoy a more
leisurely pace while continuing to make an impact against
breast cancer.

Pasta Party


Join us on Friday, April 23 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
in Tontitown, AR, for our traditional Pasta Party sponsored
by Washington Regional Medical Center. The fun and
festivities begin at 6:30 pm so bring your appetite and carb
up before the race.


Sleep In for the Cure®

Not a morning person? Out of town on Race day?
Register for our Sleep In for the Cure program sponsored
by Folgers. Registration includes a special Sleep In for the
Cure t-shirt mailed to your home prior to the race, if
registered by April 7, 2010.


Kids for the Cure®
Kids 12 and under, along with their parents, are invited to
join in the fun of the post-race party at Kids for the Cure.
Founding sponsor Willard & Pat Walker Charitable
Foundation, Inc. and presenting sponsor Kimberly-Clark
invite you to this kid-friendly area featuring food, fun, and
our Kid’s Dash sponsored by Kraft. Kids will receive a
special and uniquely designed Kids for the Cure t-shirt.
The first 2,000 kids on Race day will receive a Kids for the
Cure race medal sponsored by Pepperidge Farm. Parental
supervision is required. Kids Dash

Bark for the Cure

Bring your dog to PetSmart at Pinnacle Hills Promenade
Mall for the Komen Ozark Bark for the Cure sponsored
by Nestle Purina. Walk your best friend through the 1k
route with a water stop at the end. Prizes will be given in
various categories throughout the event. One dog per participant please.

Teens for the Cure
High school and junior high students are challenged to
participate on Race day. This is an excellent opportunity
for students to help their community while raising funds
for a worthy cause. Prizes will be awarded by school
participation. Registration is $10 and includes a specially
designed Teens for the Cure t-shirt. You may participate in
the Komen Ozark Race for the Cure or cheer on
participants from the special Teens area on the interior of
the race course. Registration only available through your
school. Contact school officials or call 479-750-7465 for
more information.


Volunteers

New and returning volunteers are encouraged to
get involved. Race volunteers will receive a t-shirt
courtesy of Quilted Northern Ultra in appreciation of
their efforts. Quilted Northern is the National Series
sponsor of the Volunteer Recognition Program. For
